Chris Pecak, Mayor
Mayor Christopher “Chris” Pecak is a lifelong resident of Lisle. He and his wife Robin have two sons. Chris started in the workforce in retail sales and management, which he performed for 15 years. Shortly thereafter he began his Project Management career in the Vertical Transportation Industry. During his 20+ years in this sector, Chris won two prestigious national awards for his outstanding engineering and planning. A dedicated community volunteer, Chris was honored with the Lisle “Community Spirit Award” in 2011. Chris is deeply involved in Cub Scouts, including serving as a Leader in the past. He is also involved in multiple sports programs.
Lorna Turner, Village Clerk
Lorna, a 34-year resident of Lisle, is currently the Assistant Division Manager at the Illinois Department of Revenue, where she conducts audits of large multi-state taxpayers. She has specialized in state and local taxes throughout her career and has worked for large Fortune 500 companies prior to joining the Department of Revenue. Lorna has been the past President of the Chicago Chapter of Tax Executives Institute, past officer and director of The Chicago Tax Club, and past Board member of the Council on State Taxation, based out of Washington D.C. Lorna’s community involvement includes The Morton Arboretum (35+ year commitment), Lisle Woman’s Club, Fifth District Woman’s Club, Lisle Township Food Pantry Garden, Lisle District 202 HSO, Sharing Connections, and various other organizations.
